Eagles QB Brandon Boykin, linebacker Brandon Boykins arrested for public intoxication in South Dakota

On Monday, NFL Network’s Albert Breer reported that Eagles QB Carson Wentz was arrested on charges of public intoxication, which carries a fine of up to $100,000.

According to the Sioux Falls Police Department, Wentz failed a field sobriety test at a grocery store in the city of Sioux Falls.

Wentz was cited for failing to maintain a distance from another person in the parking lot of the grocery store.

He was released on $10,000 bond, the police department said.

A person who identified himself as the owner of the store called the police and reported that Wentz and his two companions were at the store drinking alcohol.

Wentz’s attorney has since claimed that Wentns intoxication was not at the grocery shop and that he was simply trying to sell some items on the street.

The police department is still investigating the incident, and no arrests have been made.

While Wentz is now facing a fine and a possible jail time, he was a rookie when the incident occurred.

He finished the season with two touchdown passes, but the Eagles lost to the Packers in the wild-card round.
